The University and United Academics have agreed on a process to determine whether a faculty member meets the definition of a “supervisor” such that she or he should be excluded from the bargaining unit. Faculty members who believe that the supervisory duties they perform should be considered for supervisory exclusion must complete a form and have it approved by their unit. Please contact Jane Gordon by January 27th to obtain the form. If this deadline is missed, your request will be considered in the next quarterly analysis period.
